Associate Attorney - Remote

Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney to join their team in Indianapolis, IN. This role involves managing case files, representing the firm in various legal proceedings, and formulating strategic actions. The ideal candidate will be based in the Indianapolis area.

Duties

• Manage case files and determine next steps.
• Represent the firm at pre-trials, trials, mediations, and court appearances.
• Create persuasive communication materials.
• Conduct investigations to uncover facts and causes of action.
• Work independently and collaboratively to manage priorities.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of civil litigation experience.
• 1-2 years of experience in Creditors' Rights or Collections preferred.
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Strong motivation and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Proficiency in computer and word processing skills, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Education

• Juris Doctor Degree (J.D.)

Certifications

• Must be licensed in the state of Indiana.

Skills

• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Subrogation or insurance experience is a plus.
