Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Career Associate with 3-5 years of civil litigation experience to join their team in Washington, DC. This role involves supporting litigation teams within the Strategic Advisory and Government Enforcement group, primarily handling cases for a major technology company. The position offers opportunities to work on financial services, white collar, and privacy and data security litigation and enforcement matters.

Duties

  • Develop case strategy and drive fact development efforts.
  • Draft motions to dismiss and other litigation documents.
  • Engage in discovery, including e-discovery tasks.
  • Manage cases and projects, ensuring proactive deadline management.

Requirements

  • Experience with complex civil litigation.
  • Strong research and drafting skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Education

  • J.D. degree required.

Certifications

  • Admission to the State Bar of California preferred.
