Job Overview

A law firm seeks a highly qualified associate with a minimum of 2 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions and/or private equity to join their team in New York, NY. The successful candidate will work within the Mergers & Acquisitions/Private Equity practice, contributing to a diverse range of transactions and client engagements.

Duties

• Assist in the execution of mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions.
• Provide strategic advice and support to clients on complex legal matters.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve client objectives.
• Conduct due diligence and prepare transaction documentation.
• Advise clients on regulatory compliance and risk management.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions and/or private equity.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the New York State Bar.
