Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Mergers & Acquisitions Associate to join their Corporate & Securities group in New York. The successful candidate will engage in sophisticated, complex mergers and acquisitions, representing buyers, sellers, and advisers globally.

Duties

• Draft and negotiate complex M&A and private equity transaction documents.
• Serve as a key member of deal teams, managing acquisition and equity documents.
• Oversee key aspects of transactions from due diligence through closing.

Requirements

• 4-7 years of M&A practice experience.
• Proven experience in drafting and negotiating transaction documentation.
• Experience in managing deal teams and transaction processes.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice law in New York.
