A law firm seeks a passionate Plaintiff's Personal Injury/Workers' Compensation Attorney to join their team in the Midlands, South Carolina. The firm is dedicated to advocating for injured workers and providing expert legal representation to navigate the workers' compensation system.

Duties

  • Independently manage a caseload of personal injury plaintiff cases from inception through resolution.
  • Investigate claims, gather evidence, and develop strong legal strategies.
  • Draft and file legal documents.
  • Conduct depositions, negotiate settlements, and represent clients at hearings and trials.
  • Maintain exceptional communication with clients, keeping them informed and empowered throughout the legal process.
  • Collaborate effectively with a dedicated team of case managers.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the South Carolina Bar Association.
  • 3+ years of verifiable experience in Personal Injury and/or Workers' Compensation.
  • Proven ability to manage a significant caseload effectively and independently.
  • Exceptional legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine ability to connect with and advocate for clients from diverse backgrounds.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admission to the South Carolina Bar Association.
