Associate Attorney

Job Overview
A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney to join their team in either New York, NY or Iselin, NJ. The role involves representing mortgage lender and investor clients in foreclosure and title litigation, including making court appearances and drafting legal documents.

Duties

• Manage a caseload of foreclosure matters for mortgage lenders and investors.
• Appear in court to argue motions for foreclosure, eviction, and title matters.
• Communicate with clients to ensure quality representation and adherence to directives.
• Collaborate with support staff on legal document preparation and execution.
• Analyze loan files, title reports, and other client documents.
• Draft legal pleadings and correspondence for foreclosure actions.

Requirements

• J.D. degree, licensed in New York, and in good standing with the New York Bar.
• Minimum one year of motion practice experience.
• Knowledge of New York Mortgage Foreclosure Law.

Education

• J.D. degree.

Certifications

• Licensed in New York and in good standing with the New York Bar.
