A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney in Colorado Springs, CO, to join their team and provide high-quality estate planning, business planning, probate, and trust administration services. The role is full-time and onsite, offering a collaborative work environment.

Duties

• Collaborate with the team onsite, adhering to firm systems and deadlines.
• Engage with clients to understand their needs and review current plans.
• Draft legal documents such as Trusts, Wills, and Powers of Attorney.
• Advise clients on estate, gift, and tax matters.
• Participate in marketing activities, including public speaking and writing.
• Attend CLE to maintain competence and credentialing.
• Support the team with various tasks as required.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) Degree.
• Current Bar license in Colorado or in process of obtaining it.
• One year of estate planning experience preferred.
• Proven ability to lead client meetings and draft planning documents.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) Degree.

Certifications

• Bar license to practice law in Colorado.
