Job Overview

A law firm seeks a highly motivated Corporate Associate with 3-4 years of experience in corporate, securities, and transactional matters to join their team in Parsippany, New Jersey. The ideal candidate will have experience or a strong interest in advising public companies on corporate matters, including disclosure obligations, capital markets offerings, SEC compliance, corporate governance, and mergers and acquisitions.

Duties

• Advise public companies on corporate disclosure obligations and compliance.
• Assist with capital markets offerings and SEC filings.
• Participate in mergers and acquisitions and other transactional matters.

Requirements

• 3-4 years of experience with public companies on corporate, securities, and transactional matters.
• Excellent writing, research, and communication skills.
• Strong technical, professional, and client service skills.
• Ability to manage complex matters with attention to detail and efficiency.
• Ability to work independently and in team settings.
• Bar admission in good standing in the jurisdiction of practice.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
