Litigation Associate Attorney

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Litigation Associate Attorney in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of civil litigation experience, with expertise in general liability and/or workers' compensation. This role offers the opportunity to engage in meaningful litigation and develop trial skills while managing cases independently.

Duties

• Manage caseload from inception through resolution.
• Gain hands-on courtroom and trial experience.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Draft, file, and argue substantive motions.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of civil litigation experience.
• Experience in general liability and/or workers' compensation.
• Current member of the North Carolina Bar in good standing.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in North Carolina.

Skills

• Strong litigation and trial skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple cases independently.
