Mid-Level Associate, Life Sciences Corporate

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-level corporate associate to join their Life Sciences team in Washington, DC. The role involves engaging in corporate transactions for high-growth life sciences, healthcare, and technology companies globally, including equity financing, IPOs, M&A, and corporate governance.

Duties

• Participate in a broad range of lifecycle corporate and transactional matters.
• Engage in public company work and registered equity offerings.
• Provide ongoing SEC representation and manage M&A transactions.
• Work collaboratively in teams and manage substantial transaction components independently.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in corporate and transactional matters.
• Experience with life sciences companies preferred; interest in life sciences work considered.
• Outstanding academic credentials and comparable law firm experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Relevant bar admission or eligibility to obtain admission promptly.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• Bar admission in relevant jurisdiction.
