Job Overview

A law firm seeks a structured finance tax associate for its New York, New York office. The ideal candidate will have transactional tax experience and a strong ability to manage multiple deals. Experience with the tax aspects of CLOs and other structured finance transactions is preferred. Membership to the State Bar of New York is required.

Duties

• Advise on a range of tax matters involving high-value transactions.
• Collaborate with the structured finance group on innovative transactions.
• Contribute to the structuring and execution of asset-backed securities.

Requirements

• 4 - 7 years of relevant experience.
• Excellent academic credentials.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.

Substantial billable hours is the primary way to get the big bucks and partnership consideration at this large New York firm.
