Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Innovation Attorney in Charlotte, NC, with the option for 100% remote work within the US. The role supports the firm's innovation efforts in enhancing legal service delivery through people, process, and technology, focusing on Litigation and Intellectual Property business units.

Duties

• Lead projects to optimize client service delivery and increase efficiencies.
• Coordinate and implement technology integration, including generative AI.
• Serve as a resource for practice resource questions and technology adoption.
• Support large litigation teams with matter management and workflow design.
• Develop client-facing solutions and improve practice content delivery.
• Educate legal professionals on firm resources and technology initiatives.
• Maintain case studies for marketing and business development.

Requirements

• Minimum of four years of experience as a litigation or IP attorney in a large law firm.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to solve practical problems and manage workflows.
• Familiarity with legal technology and AI applications.
• Strong analytical and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Availability to travel as necessary.

Education

• Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an accredited university or college.

Certifications

• Admission to practice in good standing in a US jurisdiction.
