Data Center Development Associate

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a junior to mid-level associate to join its Data Center Development practice in Kansas City. This role involves representing developers, investors, and other stakeholders in data center projects across the United States.

Duties

• Represent clients in all phases of data center development.
• Manage complex commercial real estate and development transactions.
• Coordinate with environmental and engineering consultants.
• Advise clients through permitting, diligence, and development processes.
• Collaborate with colleagues across various practice areas.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in commercial real estate and development transactions.
• Experience in renewable energy, digital infrastructure, or related projects preferred.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and project management skills.
• Strong business judgment and ability to manage sophisticated transactions.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Active bar admission in Missouri.

Skills

• Superior writing, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
