Job Overview

A law firm seeks an associate to join the Securities and Capital Markets Group in New York City, NY. This role offers the opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary practice, engaging closely with shareholders and participating in business development and client-facing activities.

Duties

  • Collaborate with team members on corporate, securities, capital markets, and M&A transactions.
  • Manage debt and equity offerings, M&A transactions, and SEC compliance and reporting.
  • Engage in client-facing activities and business development initiatives.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of experience at an AM Law 100 firm in relevant practice areas.
  • Strong transactional skills and experience with securitizations and aviation clients preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Education

  • J.D. degree with strong academic credentials.

Certifications

  • Admitted and in good standing in Illinois, New York, District of Columbia, or Florida.
