Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-level project finance associate to join its project finance team in Seattle, WA. The role involves debt and tax equity financings and related development work for renewable energy assets, including solar, wind, and storage.

Duties

  • Support construction and term debt facilities and tax credit monetization transactions.
  • Assist in financing transactions, acquisitions, and joint ventures of projects and platforms.

  • Execute due diligence and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • JD and active bar membership in good standing.
  • Three to five years of experience in debt and tax equity project finance and M&A.
  • Experience managing transactions, timelines, and facilitating closings.
  • Familiarity with tax equity structures and partnership tax concepts.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
