Job Overview
A law firm in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its insurance defense litigation practice. Duties

• Handle insurance defense litigation matters from initial filing through resolution
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other litigation-related documents
• Conduct legal research and develop case strategies
• Participate in depositions, hearings, and trial preparation
• Represent clients in court proceedings and negotiations
• Manage a caseload and ensure compliance with deadlines and court requirements
• Communicate with clients and provide updates on case progress
• Collaborate with team members on litigation strategy

Requirements

• At least 3 years of litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense
• Ability to manage cases independently in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in defense matters such as premises liability, construction defect-related claims, personal injury, or professional liability is preferred
• Strong interest in trial work and courtroom advocacy
• Self-motivated with the ability to take ownership of cases

Education and Certifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Active membership in the New Jersey State Bar
