Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Senior Leasing Attorney with a minimum of eight years' experience in commercial leasing to join its Real Estate Group in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will have expertise in handling office, industrial, and retail leases, with solar leasing experience being a plus.

Duties

  • Lead the drafting and negotiation of commercial leases and related agreements.
  • Supervise less experienced leasing attorneys.
  • Interact directly with clients, opposing counsel, and other relevant parties.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in commercial leasing.
  • Experience with office, retail, industrial, and life science leases.
  • Substantial experience representing landlords.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD)

Certifications

  • Admitted to practice in the jurisdiction of application.

Skills

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent negotiating and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
