Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Mid-Level Real Estate Associate to join their team in Washington, D.C. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience, preferably from a large law firm, but boutique firm experience will also be considered. The role focuses on acquisitions, dispositions, real estate development, and joint ventures.

Duties

  • Manage acquisitions and dispositions of real estate assets.
  • Participate in real estate development projects.
  • Engage in joint venture and private equity transactions.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members.
  • Handle small-to-mid-sized matters or portions of larger projects efficiently.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of relevant real estate experience.
  • Experience in large law firms preferred; boutique firm experience considered.
  • Familiarity with real estate financing and hospitality is a plus.
  • Strong oral and research skills.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

  • Bar admission in the jurisdiction of practice.
