Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Employment Law Senior Attorney in Ontario, CA, with over eight years of expertise in the Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employment litigation and defense, with a focus on compliance and wage/hour audits.

Duties

  • Manage and oversee PAGA claims, including strategic development and legal filings.
  • Provide counsel on compliance with California labor laws and conduct audits.
  • Foster and expand client relationships and identify business development opportunities.
  • Supervise and mentor junior attorneys and staff, ensuring high-quality work.

Requirements

  • Established background in employment litigation and defense.
  • Significant expertise in PAGA, class actions, and compliance.
  • Jury trial or civil court trial experience preferred.
  • Experience with public entity defense is a plus.

Education

  • Bachelor's and Juris Doctor degrees.

Certifications

  • Member, State Bar of California in good standing.
