Job Overview

A law firm seeks a junior-level associate to join the Securities & Capital Markets Group in New York City, NY. This role offers the opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary team, engaging in business development and client-facing activities, while supporting career development and excellent client service.

Duties

  • Collaborate with shareholders on various transactions.
  • Participate in business development and client-facing activities.
  • Engage in SEC compliance and reporting tasks.
  • Work on debt and equity offerings and M&A transactions.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in corporate, securities, capital markets, and M&A at an AM Law 100 firm.
  • Experience with debt and equity offerings, M&A transactions, and SEC compliance.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Education

  • J.D. degree with strong academic credentials.

Certifications

  • Admitted and in good standing in Illinois, New York, District of Columbia, or Florida.

Skills

  • Strong transactional skills.
  • Experience with securitizations and aviation clients is an asset.
