Litigation Attorney

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Litigation Attorney in Tustin, California. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of legal experience, preferably with a background in public agency representation.

Duties

• Represent clients in litigation, mediation, and arbitration in federal and state courts, and administrative hearings.
• Provide legal counsel on education law, employment disputes, and governance matters.
• Assist with collective bargaining and labor relations for school employees.
• Address student-related legal issues, including First Amendment concerns and FERPA.
• Advise on business operations, facilities management, real estate, and energy matters.
• Handle special education law matters, including IEPs and Section 504 meetings.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Member in good standing of the California State Bar.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of California public agency and education laws is a plus.
• Commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
