Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Real Estate Senior Associate or Counsel for its Atlanta, GA office. The candidate will manage commercial real estate transactions, including lease reviews, acquisitions, and dispositions, from contract negotiation through due diligence and closing.

Duties

• Manage routine commercial real estate transactions.
• Conduct lease reviews and handle property acquisitions and dispositions.
• Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements and JV agreements.
• Spearhead transaction due diligence.
• Collaborate on complex engagements in a team environment.

Requirements

• J.D. degree and membership in the applicable state bar association.
• 6+ years of experience in sophisticated deal work.
• Strong background in title and survey items preferred.
• Licensed to practice law in the applicable state.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.

Certifications

• Membership in the applicable state bar association.
