Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Resource Attorney to join its Corporate group in Miami, FL. This role involves supporting the Emerging Growth & Venture Capital practice by developing core practice assets, enhancing workflows, and leveraging technology to improve efficiency and client service. The position offers flexibility for remote work and can be based in any U.S. office.

Duties

  • Develop and update the EGVC practice's corporate resource plan.
  • Create and maintain precedent collections, forms, and checklists.
  • Communicate relevant legal and market developments promptly.
  • Analyze market trends and optimize the firm's experience database.
  • Enhance collaboration through communication tools and content platforms.
  • Improve workflows and matter management processes.
  • Utilize technology, including AI tools, for efficiency.
  • Design and deliver training programs for the EGVC practice.
  • Coordinate contributions from attorneys within the practice.
  • Draft client alerts and practice updates.
  • Collaborate with various internal teams to promote resources.
  • Participate in meetings to share best practices.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Corporate attorney, preferably with EGVC or related experience.
  • Understanding of attorney workflows and resource needs.
  • Advanced legal drafting and research skills.
  • Project management skills and process improvement ability.
  • Interest in practice support, technology, and innovation.
  • Familiarity with legal technologies is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • J.D.

  • Admission to practice in the state of office location.
