Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Projects Lawyer to join its Development team, with location flexibility across all US offices. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 10+ years of experience in construction, procurement, and project development, particularly within the power, energy, oil & gas, or chemical sectors.

Duties

  • Negotiate engineering, procurement, and construction agreements.
  • Handle equipment procurement agreements, including PV, BESS, or turbine procurement.
  • Draft operations and maintenance agreements and long-term services agreements.
  • Engage in high-profile projects in renewable energy and energy transition technologies.

Requirements

  • 4 to 10+ years of experience as a projects development lawyer.
  • Experience with renewable energy projects preferred.
  • Strong academic credentials.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in the United States.

Skills

  • Strong negotiation and drafting skills.
  • Ability to work on complex project developments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
