Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-level associate with 3-6 years of complex litigation experience to join their team in San Francisco, CA. This role involves handling complex disputes from case filing through trial across various industries, including technology, finance, life sciences, and energy.

Duties

• Litigate complex disputes from case filing through trial.
• Engage in commercial, trade secret, financial, energy, and product liability litigation.
• Work directly with clients and manage complex cases.
• Take and defend depositions, and participate in court appearances, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.

Requirements

• 3-6 years of complex litigation experience.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and oral communication skills.
• Membership in the State Bar of the desired office location is strongly preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.

Certifications

• Membership in the State Bar of California preferred.

Salaries are in line with other top Bay Area firms, and the firm provides a $10,000 bonus for all lawyers who bill at least 1,950 hours, with additional money based on three separate billable-hour levels above 1,950.
