Data Privacy Litigation Associate

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a junior-to-mid-level associate to join its Data Strategy, Security & Privacy team in San Francisco. This role offers a motivated litigator the chance to work at the intersection of privacy law, cybersecurity, and complex commercial litigation.

Duties

• Draft and contribute to dispositive and procedural motions.
• Prepare and respond to written discovery.
• Work directly with client witnesses regarding discovery obligations.
• Prepare for mediations.

Requirements

• 2 to 4 years of litigation experience.
• Admitted to practice law in California.
• Familiarity with California's federal and state courts.
• Experience with JAMS and AAA arbitration procedures.

Education

• Strong academic record.

Certifications

• California Bar admission.

Skills

• Superior legal research and writing skills.
• Comfortable with large, complex cases and smaller, fast-moving matters.
