Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Litigation Career Associate with over seven years of civil litigation experience to join their team in San Francisco, CA. Fully remote work arrangements will also be considered. This role offers an alternative to the partner track, providing opportunities for substantive legal work with a lower annual time commitment.

Duties

• Provide general case team support.
• Conduct strong legal research.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery documents.
• Manage discovery tasks, including e-discovery.
• Oversee case and project management.
• Prepare for depositions and trials.
• Prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Meaningful experience with complex civil litigation.
• Outstanding interpersonal, writing, and communication skills.
• Strong academic credentials and a writing sample.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree required.

Certifications

• Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.

Salaries are in line with other top Bay Area firms, and the firm provides a $10,000 bonus for all lawyers who bill at least 1,950 hours, with additional money based on three separate billable-hour levels above 1,950.
