Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Employment Attorney in Summit, NJ. This full-time, hybrid role requires in-person attendance three days per week. The successful candidate will provide strategic counsel to business clients and senior executives, focusing on employment law compliance, risk management, and workforce outcomes.

Duties

  • Provide strategic employment law counsel across the full employee life cycle.
  • Prepare, review, and advise on employment-related agreements and policies.
  • Resolve complex employment issues and disputes, including discrimination claims.
  • Coach executives through sensitive personnel matters and negotiations.
  • Support corporate team on employment aspects of mergers and acquisitions.
  • Offer career and employment advisory services to business professionals.

Requirements

  • JD degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to practice in New York and/or New Jersey.
  • At least 4 years of practical employment law experience.
  • Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment.

Education
