Job Overview:

A reputable law firm is looking to add a motivated Workers' Compensation Associate Attorney to their legal team. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of civil litigation experience, with a focus on workers' compensation matters. The role requires a high-energy, self-driven attorney with excellent research, writing, and communication skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing written discovery, depositions, and motions while providing exceptional legal counsel to clients.

Duties:

  • Represent clients in workers' compensation claims from inception through resolution.

  • Draft and manage legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and discovery requests.

  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategy and litigation efforts.

  • Attend depositions, hearings, and trials as needed.

  • Advise clients on workers' compensation matters and guide them through the legal process.

  • Work closely with senior attorneys to prepare case strategies and provide updates on progress.

  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient case handling and client satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of civil litigation experience, with a focus on workers' compensation law.

  • Strong legal research and writing skills.

  • Ability to handle high caseloads with strong attention to detail.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
