Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney in Orlando, FL. The successful candidate will collaborate with attorneys and support staff across various offices, managing a diverse caseload independently. The role requires a minimum of three years of experience as a practicing attorney, with expertise in foreclosure, title, and financial services. A Florida law license is mandatory.

Duties

  • Review documentation for compliance with state and federal law.
  • Draft and review pleadings and case-related documents.
  • Evaluate files and provide legal opinions.
  • Identify and resolve title issues through litigation or non-litigated means.
  • Advise clients on file-level scenarios.
  • Manage deadlines and dockets independently.
  • Represent clients at virtual and in-person hearings.
  • Develop strong relationships with vendors and clients.

Requirements

  • Licensed and in good standing with the FL State Bar.
  • 3+ years of experience in foreclosure, title, and financial services.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws.

Education

  • Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Membership with the FL State Bar.

Skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office and internet research.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage a diverse workload independently.
  • Experience with case and document management software.
