Job Overview

A law firm seeks a skilled and passionate attorney to join their team in El Segundo, CA. This full-time position offers an opportunity to provide legal support and representation in defense cases, contributing to a dynamic and successful practice.

Duties

• Provide legal support and representation to clients in defense cases.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to develop effective defense strategies.
• Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, discovery, motions, and briefs.
• Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant state and federal laws and regulations.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the bar in California and license in good standing.
• 3-11 years of solid litigation experience, background in defense is strongly preferred.
• Strong research and writing skills required.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Must be available to work in-person and travel 10-25%.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the bar in California and license in good standing.
