Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Business Immigration Attorney in Addison, TX. This role involves managing a diverse caseload, advising clients, and mentoring a team of paralegals. The position offers a hybrid work schedule and a path to leadership within the firm.

Duties

  • Manage a full caseload of business immigration matters independently.
  • Oversee family immigration cases.
  • Consult extensively with prospective clients and communicate directly with clients.
  • Draft and file petitions with USCIS, DOL, DOS, and other relevant agencies.
  • Review and approve paralegal work product for accuracy and quality.
  • Mentor, guide, and train paralegals to develop their legal skills.
  • Help grow the practice strategically and contribute to building firm culture.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years of dedicated, hands-on business immigration experience.
  • Proven ability to manage a complex, high-volume caseload independently.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Outgoing, warm, and personable demeanor.
  • Natural leader and mentor with a strategic mindset.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented.
  • Committed to a long-term role with the firm.

Education

  • J.D. from an accredited law school, or foreign law degree equivalent recognized for U.S. immigration law practice.

Certifications

  • Licensed and in good standing with any U.S. state bar.

Skills

  • Experience with EB-1A, EB-1B, EB-1C, EB-2 NIW, EB-2, EB-3, Perm Labor Certification, EB-5, H-1B, L-1, TN Visas, E-2, and O-1.
