Litigation Associate (4th-5th Year)

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a 4th or 5th year Litigation Associate to join their practice group in New York, NY. The candidate will handle all aspects of litigation and develop strong business and client relationships.

Duties

• Conduct fact investigation and manage pleadings.
• Oversee discovery processes and work with experts.
• Draft and file complaints, answers, motions, and briefs.
• Prepare witnesses for depositions and manage trial preparations.
• Negotiate and draft settlement agreements.

Requirements

• Experience with an Am Law 100 firm is desired.
• Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong organizational and matter management skills.
• Commitment to career development and client service excellence.

Education

• Bachelor's degree.
• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited U.S. law school.

Certifications

• Member of the New York State Bar in good standing.
