Job Overview:
A respected law firm is actively seeking a skilled and driven Personal Injury Attorney to handle complex and meaningful cases involving wrongful death, serious injury, and victims’ rights. This position offers the opportunity to manage cases from intake through litigation, contribute to trial strategy, and make a significant impact for clients in need. A strong litigation background and the ability to operate independently while collaborating with a supportive legal team are essential.

Location:

  • Fort Worth, TX

Duties:

Pre-Litigation:

  • Manage personal injury cases from intake to resolution

  • Conduct detailed legal research and case analysis

  • Draft legal documents including complaints, motions, and discovery

  • Investigate claims to establish liability and damages

  • Negotiate settlements and represent clients in mediation

  • Maintain consistent communication with clients

Litigation:

  • Prepare for and conduct trials, including jury trials

  • Develop trial strategies based on case facts and applicable law

  • Conduct and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts

  • Prepare clients and witnesses for deposition and court testimony

  • Analyze deposition transcripts and discovery responses

  • Draft and respond to interrogatories, admissions, and other discovery requests

  • Utilize discovery findings to support case strategy and resolution

Requirements:

  • Approximately 4+ years of experience in personal injury law (flexible depending on qualifications)

  • Proven experience handling significant personal injury and wrongful death cases

  • Demonstrated trial and deposition experience

  • Strong understanding of pre-litigation and litigation processes

  • Commitment to high standards of client service

  • Ability to manage a demanding caseload effectively

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction (active and in good standing)

  • Must be board certified or have a clear path to board certification in the near future

Skills:
