A Fort Worth, TX law firm is seeking a dedicated and experienced Insurance Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have  5+ years of experience in third-party insurance coverage and demonstrate strong legal abilities, excellent academic credentials, and superior writing and research skills.

Job Description:

Duties:

  • Handle a caseload of third-party insurance coverage matters.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents related to insurance coverage.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on complex insurance issues.
  • Provide legal advice and representation to clients in insurance disputes.
  • Prepare and present cases in court, including trials and hearings.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.
  • Stay updated on current insurance laws and regulations.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of legal strategies.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff on various cases and projects.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in third-party insurance coverage.
  • Proven track record of handling insurance coverage cases.
  • Strong legal research and writing skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of professionalism and ethical standards.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active member in good standing of the Texas State Bar.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Texas Bar is required.
  • Additional certifications related to insurance law are a plus.
