Duties

  • Handle all aspects of commercial litigation and creditors' rights matters, including case strategy and trials.
  • Draft and argue pleadings, motions, and briefs in state and federal courts.
  • Represent creditors in foreclosure, replevin, collection, and enforcement actions.
  • Provide counsel on risk management, compliance, and workout strategies.
  • Supervise and mentor junior attorneys and staff.
  • Maintain high levels of client communication.
  • Assist with business development initiatives.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to practice law in Connecticut; additional admissions are a plus.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in relevant fields.
  • Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Courtroom experience preferred.
  • Ability to manage a heavy caseload effectively.
  • Proactive, team-oriented mindset with leadership skills.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
