Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Junior Renewable Energy Transactions Associate Attorney to join its San Francisco, CA office. The successful candidate will work within the Energy, Environmental, Mining, and Transportation Division, focusing on renewable energy projects. This role offers the opportunity to engage in a variety of transactional practices, including project development and financing.

Duties

• Collaborate with attorneys on renewable energy projects.
• Engage in project development, commercial, and transactional work.
• Negotiate, draft, and close commercial agreements.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in energy transactions or related fields.
• Exposure to mergers and acquisitions, financing, or real estate preferred.
• Familiarity with tax credit matters is a plus.
• Licensed to practice in or eligible for admission in California.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the California Bar or eligibility for admission without examination.
