Job Overview

A law firm seeks a finance associate in Los Angeles, CA, to join its Business Restructuring & Reorganization team. The ideal candidate will have experience in liability management transactions, DIP financings, bankruptcy exit financings, and special situations financings.

Duties

  • Represent creditors or borrowers in complex financial transactions.
  • Engage in high-profile capital structure representations.
  • Collaborate with hedge funds, CLOs, private equity funds, and financial institutions.
  • Participate in both chapter 11 cases and out-of-court restructurings.

Requirements

  • Law school class years 2019 through 2023.
  • Significant experience in relevant financial transactions.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • Bar admission in the state of California.
