Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Commercial Litigation Attorney for their Baton Rouge, LA office. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years' experience in commercial litigation and a strong desire to work in a dynamic environment.

Duties

• Collaborate with partners on all phases of litigation, including case reporting and trial preparation.
• Conduct depositions and draft motions.
• Manage a caseload independently from inception to resolution.
• Handle court appearances and client communications.
• Utilize electronic discovery platforms effectively.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years' commercial litigation experience.
• Proficiency in taking depositions and writing motions.
• Experience with electronic discovery platforms such as Relativity.
• Strong research, writing, communication, and advocacy skills.
• Ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
• Good standing with the Louisiana State Bar.

Education

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Louisiana.
