Job Overview

A law firm seeks a highly qualified mid-level tax associate for its growing practice in Atlanta. Consideration will also be given to exceptional candidates based in other U.S. locations. The ideal candidate will possess strong client management skills, superior academic credentials, and previous experience in a large law or accounting firm.

Duties

  • Manage transactional tax matters, including funds, joint ventures, and private equity.
  • Engage in strategic mergers and acquisitions, finance, and restructuring work.
  • Contribute to fund formation and partnership tax projects.
  • Structure inbound foreign investments and handle REIT and real estate finance.

Requirements

  • 3-6 years of transactional tax experience.
  • Experience in large law or accounting firms preferred.
  • Strong client management and communication skills.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.

Skills

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in managing complex tax transactions.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
