Finance Associate / Senior Associate

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a finance associate or senior associate for its New York office. The ideal candidate will have 4 or more years of experience in finance law, advising private equity sponsors, portfolio companies, direct lenders, and banks on various financing transactions.

Duties

• Represent corporate borrowers and/or lenders on institutional term loans.
• Handle alternative lender and private credit transactions.
• Manage commercial bank loans and acquisition financings.
• Engage in syndicated credit facilities and leveraged lending.
• Draft, negotiate, and analyze complex financial documents.

Requirements

• 4+ years of relevant experience in finance law.
• Experience with acquisition financings and private credit transactions.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice law in New York.
