A law firm seeks an Employment Law Attorney in Olympia, Washington, to join their dynamic Labor and Employment team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in employment litigation and transactional work, specifically representing employers.

Duties

• Represent employers in employment litigation, including discrimination, wrongful termination, and wage and hour claims.
• Draft pleadings, manage discovery, and argue motions in state and federal courts.
• Represent clients in mediation, arbitration, and trial settings.
• Advise employers on compliance with employment laws.
• Draft and review employment agreements and policies.
• Contribute to case strategy and client communication.
• Prepare and respond to agency charges and investigations.
• Collaborate with attorneys and staff to deliver client-centered service.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active member in good standing with the Washington State Bar.
• 4-5 years of employment litigation and transactional experience.
• Strong legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills.
• Excellent judgment and communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficient in federal and state wage and hour laws.
• Experience in both litigation and transactional work.
