Associate Attorney

The successful candidate must bring a portable book of business exceeding $300,000, with rates surpassing $500 per hour. This role presents a unique opportunity for an experienced attorney to contribute to substantial trusts and estate cases within a dynamic legal environment.

Duties:

• Provide expert legal counsel and representation to high net-worth clients in trusts and estate matters, including estate planning, wealth preservation, and probate.
• Conduct detailed legal research and analysis to support case strategies and provide comprehensive advice.
• Draft, review, and negotiate trusts, wills, and other estate planning documents.
• Advise clients on tax implications, asset protection, and succession planning.
• Represent clients in trust and estate litigation, if necessary.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategies and ensure client satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an attorney, specializing in high net worth trusts and estates law.
• Proven track record of cultivating and maintaining a portable book of business exceeding $300,000.
• Admission to the New York State Bar.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the New York State Bar.
