Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Private Client International Trusts & Estates Planning Associate to join their office in Greenwich, CT. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in international estate planning for high-net-worth individuals and companies.

Duties

  • Advise U.S. and non-U.S. taxpayers on wealth management structures.
  • Engage in cross-border tax planning and legal considerations.
  • Handle foreign trusts, pre-immigration, and expatriation planning.
  • Plan for the purchase of U.S. property by non-U.S. persons.
  • Ensure compliance with tax and reporting obligations for overseas interests.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in international estate planning.
  • Strong technical, professional, and client service skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Team-oriented with a focus on collaboration.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
