Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Trusts and Estates Associate for its Greenwich, CT office. This role offers a partnership track within a collaborative team, focusing on sophisticated estate planning and trust administration for high net worth clients.

Duties

  • Participate in client conferences and draft estate planning documents.
  • Collaborate with paralegals, fiduciary accountants, and attorneys in probate and trust administration.
  • Prepare and review gift, estate, and fiduciary income tax returns.
  • Conduct tax research and assist with charitable planning.

Requirements

  • 4 to 10 years of experience in estate planning and administration.
  • Experience with high net worth individuals and families.
  • Connecticut Bar admission or willingness to become admitted.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
  • LL.M. in Taxation or Estate Planning preferred.

Certifications

  • Connecticut Bar admission.

Skills

  • Excellent academic credentials.
  • Exceptional writing and oral communication skills.
