Junior to Mid Litigation Associate

Job Overview:
A prominent law firm is seeking a junior to mid-level Litigation Associate Attorney with 2–3 years of experience to join its Newport Beach office. This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong academic background and substantive experience in complex litigation matters. Location:

• Newport Beach, California

Duties:

• Assist in all stages of litigation including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation

• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, motions, and briefs

• Support senior attorneys in the management of complex commercial litigation matters

• Participate in client meetings, strategy discussions, and case development

• Work closely with colleagues across practice groups in a team-oriented environment

• Manage deadlines and court requirements with strong organizational oversight

Requirements:

• 2–3 years of experience in litigation, preferably in a law firm environment

• Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple assignments under deadline

• Prior experience with complex litigation, including discovery and motion practice

• Judicial clerkship experience is a plus

• Willingness to work in-office at least three days per week

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active membership in the California Bar (or willingness to sit for the California Bar exam)
