Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Finance Associate in New York, New York. The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of experience in secured and unsecured commercial lending, project, and structured finance. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, including banks, institutional investors, and corporate borrowers, across various industries such as telecommunications, media, and technology.

Duties

  • Advise clients on commercial lending and structured finance matters.
  • Manage senior, second lien, and subordinated financings.
  • Handle workouts and restructurings.
  • Coordinate working capital and leveraged acquisition financings.
  • Oversee accounts receivable and equipment financings.
  • Participate in project finance and loan syndications.

Requirements

  • 3-6 years of relevant law firm experience.
  • Proficiency in commercial lending and structured finance.
  • Experience with cross-border financings and securitization.
  • Ability to manage multiple matters and work with cross-functional teams.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admission to the New York State Bar.
