Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Construction Litigation Associate with 4-6 years of experience for its office in Los Angeles, CA. The ideal candidate will possess strong advocacy, research, writing, and negotiation skills, along with trial preparation and courtroom experience.

Duties

• Prepare for and participate in trials, including file responsibility and motion practice.
• Conduct depositions and manage case files effectively.
• Engage in legal research and draft persuasive legal documents.
• Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients.

Requirements

• 4-6 years of construction litigation experience.
• Licensed to practice law in California.
• Strong academic record from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Experience in construction, engineering, or architecture is a plus.
• Experience with insurance defense processes is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in California.
