Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Partner/Group Lead for Construction Litigation in Orlando, FL. This role is ideal for an attorney with a robust client base and a desire to expand their practice within a supportive environment.

Duties

  • Lead complex construction litigation matters from strategy through resolution.
  • Manage all phases of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, depositions, trial preparation, and trial.
  • Develop and deepen client relationships with developers, contractors, insurers, and design professionals.
  • Collaborate with firm leadership on strategic expansion.
  • Mentor junior attorneys and shape the team as the practice grows.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five years of substantive experience in construction litigation.
  • Portable book of business with established client relationships or ability to develop new business.
  • Experience managing legal teams and directing litigation strategy.
  • Strong client relationship skills with a track record of retaining and growing accounts.
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical abilities.
  • Collaborative and entrepreneurial mindset.

Education

  • Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active Florida Bar membership in good standing.
