Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Insurance Defense Partner for one of its Florida offices. The successful candidate will possess expertise in litigation, particularly in general liability and construction defect cases, and demonstrate proficiency in managing civil cases through trial.

Duties

• Conduct depositions, oral arguments, and hearings.
• Negotiate settlements and manage client reporting.
• Independently handle appearances and assignments with minimal supervision.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in Florida; additional state licensure is a plus.
• 8-12 years of experience in insurance defense preferred.
• Experience in general liability and construction defect required.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Florida Bar certification required.

Skills

• Strong litigation and trial management skills.
